The hotel seemed to be newly built (and some parts were under construction). The staff were extremely accommodating and even came to find us when we ended up at the wrong hotel. The restaurant was AMAZING and we ate a variety of seafood dishes for supper. The side potatoes were the best potatoes we had ever eaten in our entire lives. How were they that good!? Breakfast was also delicious and a great value with the hotel. Apparently, there was a band/live-music in the restaurant. We missed it but didn't hear anything from our room (which was right above the stage).
It's easy to see from photos how beautiful this hotel is, and the reality is even more impactful. What set this hotel apart for us was the outstanding service that we received throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived to when we left, the staff were incredibly attentive, even offering to pick us up after we took the bicycles for a trip and it started to rain. I can't imagine ever getting close to the same treatment at another hotel. Todor, and the whole team get a huge thank you from us for the wonderful experience they gave us.
I had a chance to stay in big hotel chains like Lao Lao, Savoy, and Four Seasons. They all need to learn from Verdisso what excellent service means. Staff, concierge, food, ambiance provide a unique experience.
The sense of pride from staff reflects directly on customer experience. It's one of the best in the world.
